Meet the Fort Worth Team Behind Vance Gate Repair Fort Worth

We’re a crew of nine in Fort Worth, and we’ve worked on more gates here than we can count since Adrian Vance started this company in 2014. Some of us came from commercial access-control work, some from welding shops, one from irrigation and fencing. What unites us is simple: we write the price before we touch the gate, we photograph what we found and what we fixed, and we stand behind the work for a full year. No exceptions.

Our People

Jesse R. – Lead Technician

Jesse has been with Vance since year one, which means he’s opened more Fort Worth gate panels than anyone else on the truck. He spent six years doing commercial access-control installs before Adrian pulled him onto residential work, and it shows in his documentation habits: every wire terminal, every limit-switch position, every photo-eye alignment gets photographed before he packs up. He’s the one we send when a gate has been ‘repaired’ twice already and the homeowner is out of patience. If you see a red tool bag and a guy reading the old wiring diagram with a headlamp at 11pm, that’s Jesse. He keeps a broken Mighty Mule control board on his workbench as a reminder that not every board deserves a second chance.

Marcus T. – Senior Installer

Marcus spent a decade building ornamental iron before he came to Vance, so when a weld needs to hold a 400-pound gate true to the hinge line, he’s the one under the hood. He handles most of our full gate installations and any job that needs bracket fabrication or post repair, and he’s certified in MIG and stick welding. Marcus speaks fluent LiftMaster and has a soft spot for the older Viking operators that most companies won’t service anymore. He’s also the unofficial weather predictor of the crew: if Marcus says a storm’s coming, reschedule the install. He’s rarely wrong and he’s never once been caught without a tarp.

Delia S. – Service Coordinator

Delia is the voice on the phone at 3am when a gate won’t close and a homeowner has a dog in the yard and a flight in four hours. She dispatches every job, keeps the part orders straight, and makes sure each technician has the right operator board on the truck before they pull out of the lot. Before Vance, Delia ran logistics for an HVAC company, so she treats every gate emergency like a furnace in January: get the right person moving, get the written price in hand, and don’t let anything fall through the cracks. She’s the reason you’ll never hear us say ‘someone will call you back.’ No one’s calling you back. Delia answered the first time, or she found you a technician who can.

Omar C. – Apprentice Technician

Omar is two years into his apprenticeship and already runs his own service calls on swing-gate brackets and photo-eye alignments, always with a senior technician reviewing his photos before the job is closed. He came to us after a stint building livestock fences in Parker County, which means he understands what a gate has to do every single day: hold line, swing true, and not crush a truck. He’s currently working toward his welding certification and can tell you the exact torque spec on a FAAC arm bracket without looking at a chart. Omar also keeps the truck stocked, which is a bigger job than it sounds.

One Standard, Every Job

One Standard, Every Job

Every technician who answers a call from Vance Gate Repair Fort Worth carries the same clipboard, the same camera, and the same set of rules. The price is written before the work starts, not after. The gate gets photographed before anything is touched and again when the repair is done. The homeowner gets a photo log of what was found, what was adjusted, and what was replaced, along with the part number of anything we installed. And if something isn’t right a month later or eleven months later, we come back and make it right with no argument and no second invoice. That’s the Haven Standard, and it doesn’t matter whether it’s Jesse on his tenth year or Omar on a Tuesday morning: the paperwork looks the same, the pricing is as flat, and the gate works before we leave.
